Our Painting Process
With excellent preparation and streamlined production, our painting process is designed to leave your home fully restored.
A head-turning home starts with top-notch paintwork. From interiors to exteriors, we help our clients create truly custom homes with inspiring color pairings, contrasting finishes and unparalleled attention to detail.
A Seamless Experience From Start To Finish
After requesting a quote from Elk Horn Painting, our Office Manager schedules an in-home estimate around your schedule. Precise measurements are taken, and our estimating software accurately calculates the cost of labor and materials on-site, meaning you’ll receive your estimate the same day!
With an approved estimate, you’ll move into the color selection process. Our Estimators will help you select and customize your colors and if you need further assistance, we also have Color Consultants who can assist. We can source or match colors from any manufacturer. Color testing further helps homeowners visualize results to ensure a confident choice. Our Project Manager works with you to select the best dates for painting of your home.
Preparation is key to beautiful, long-lasting results, and our professional crews at Elk Horn Painting are rigorous during the prep stage of painting. The preparation completed depends on your project and is different for interior, exterior, staining and cabinet painting. Click each one to find out more!
Your Project Manager, or foreman, accompanies you on a final quality check to ensure our highest quality standards are met — and that your expectations are exceeded. Now it is time for you to enjoy the results!
Streamlined, Efficient, Experienced
Depending on project scope, your Commercial Estimator measures, photographs, and documents any site-specific challenges (e.g. resident-occupied, high-traffic areas, access points, et cetera). A detailed project estimate is built, including any repairs needed prior to painting. Your Commercial Estimate will include suggested areas for material lay-down, crew vehicle parking, and facility access points.
Your Project Manager works with you to determine the best dates for your paintwork. Our goal is always to minimize disruptions for our commercial clients; depending on the facility type, we will work with you to find the best scheduling solution.
All surfaces to be painted are cleaned and thoroughly prepped. Any support structures or equipment needed is put in place (scaffolding, lifts, etc). Painting can then begin! After the final coat is dry, all support structures are broken down and removed, all masking is removed and disposed of, and your space is re-set to its original configuration.
Your Project Manager walks you through your space one final time, ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the results.
